Living the Gospel, Upholding the Truth

Paul writes so the church would “know how one ought to behave in the household of God,” which he calls “a pillar and buttress of the truth” (1 Tim. 3:14–16). We explore what it means for the church to be God’s family, how we hold up the truth about Jesus, and why the ancient confession—“He was manifested in the flesh… taken up in glory”—still shapes our everyday lives.
