Building Updates & Projects

In case you missed it...God has provided us with a building!

Through a partnership with our friends at St. Paul AME Church, we have agreed to a long-term lease of one of their buildings located at 85 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge. We are grateful to God for this exciting next step because it represents not just a space for us, but a Kingdom of God partnership with a great local church family for his glory in our city.

Here are some of the details about this new space:
  • Full access, 24-hour space for a church home
  • Increased kids, youth, college, and other ministry space
  • Larger auditorium & new connection lobby
  • A ministry base for city impact

It's truly an exciting time in our church family. So, how can you be involved?  We're going to keep you updated right here on this page, but here's the gist of it:

The most important work before us is prayer. We are beginning a weekly Sunday afternoon prayer meeting in our new space, as we ask God to move every obstacle, to provide every resource, and to bless every plan. All are welcome to join in prayer from 2-3 PM on Sunday afternoons at 85 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge.

As of the end of August, we've already surpassed our fundraising goal of $250,000 for the demolition and building costs! If you feel led to contribute toward that fund, you can join with us in partnering to see this space transformed and ready to host our community.

To be move-in-ready this Fall, we'll need your help! You can help in two ways:

General volunteers: On some afternoons weeknights, we need all-hands-on-deck volunteers. These opportunities will look like moving, painting, and light carpentry. No prior experience is needed.

Specialized skills: Do you have a specialized skill that might be helpful in building renovations? Let us know, and we'll reach out when the need arises! In the meantime, feel free to also volunteer for general spots above.

We're so excited to see all that God has for us in the coming days, and to let you know how you can be involved. Please pray about how you might be part of this exciting endeavor to build out a place for our church family to continue to make disciples, serve the city, and glorify God. Check out the photos below to get a glimpse at what the space looks like now!
