Hannah Wagen
Discipleship & Social Responsibility Coordinator
Hannah grew up in a small, Hispanic congregation in North Jersey where her parents pastored in the later years of her childhood. She first understood what it means for a church to be a spiritual family that cares deeply for one another and encourages faithful living during her time at that church.
Hannah has always loved God and her church community, but was pretty determined to avoid working in full-time ministry. She thought that if she dedicated her career to the church, she would be acting out of obligation to her parents and upbringing. However, plans changed when she absolutely fell in love with her campus ministry at Northeastern. Sharing the good news and caring for God’s people became her first priority. She was also blessed to meet her husband, Ari, through this campus organization in her early years of college.
She began interning at Aletheia during her senior year of college and transitioned to staff upon graduation. She now loves every day that she gets to care for members of the Aletheia congregation and Boston’s wider community.
